JOB: QC Inspector - Sinopec Engineering Group - Pengerang, Johor

Work location : Pengerang, Johor. Working hour : 10 hours/day, 6 days/week. Accommodation (stay in the project site camp), meal, laundry facility, transport to/from job site, accident insurance and etc will be provided for those who are working in the project site.

• Overall responsible for on-site construction quality inspection and control and report to the work-site QC Manager.
• Responsible for implementation of the principles and policies of related technology, quality management, norms and standards, procedures and inspection test plans.
• Responsible for developing the professional engineering quality control measures and programs, and organize their implementation.
• Responsible for the project entity quality inspection and the project quality management  specifically.
• Supervise the operation of the construction unit of the internal quality management system, urging them to complete the relevant quality self-inspection, at any time to check the quality of construction and solve problems, make inspection records and record quality analysis.
• Responsible for raw materials, equipment receiving inspection, inspection of the quality and use of on-site of materials.
• Responsible for project quality, collation, feedback, and collect information on project quality management.
• Oversee and review the rectification of defective work.
• Responsible for monitoring and inspecting the special process engineering and Critical Control Point, and carry off the whole station checking.
• Responsible for the on-site accidents quality investigation and analysis, provide recommendations and preventive measures.
• Other duties assigned by the Site QC Manager.

Qualifications & Requirements :

1. Civil

• Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Building work experience.
• Ability to review and prepare Inspection and Test Plan.

2. Painting/Coating:

• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• NACE Level 2/ SSPC Level 2/ IMM Level 2.
• Familiar with insulation of piping work

3. Structure:

• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Diploma or equivalent.
• CSWIP 3.1 or PCN Level II.
• Familiar with fire proofing work.

4. Mechanical

• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Commissioning experience needed.
• Familiar with both rotating and static equipment, especially for air compressor.

5. NDT:

• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• CSWIP 3.1/ PCN Level II/ CSWIP3.4/ PCN Level II/ ANST Level II.

6. Electrical and Instrument:

• 7 years QC Inspection experience in Oil and Gas industries.
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Commissioning experience needed.
• Familiar with telecommunication system, grounding system, electrical motor and other related E&I work in oil and gas industries.

For all disciplines mentioned above:

• Required languages: English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Must be willing to work in Pengerang, Johor.
• Must be willing to work on full time contract basis (yearly renewable).
