JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible to carry out tasks within the Group's Finance Operations, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operation functions, including enforcement/control of operating expenses and capital expenditure budget utilisation of the Group.

Key Responsibilities: -
- Maintain financial control on the Group's finance operation activities to ensure compliance with tax, legal, statutory requirements and Group policies and procedures (LOAs, SOPs).
- Carry out cash flow and including interbank/intercompany inflow/outflow recording and observation of limits set by lenders, to ensure optimal utilisation of free cash flow and carry out continuous effort to consolidate excess cash for placements.
- Carry out preparation of weekly/monthly cash flow statement and its' projection.
- Carry out payables, intercompany and any other transactions recording processes and observe controls by vetting financial documents for validity, integrity, accuracy and compliance to LOA that will ensure transactions are properly recorded and reported.
- Carry out budget utilisation controls to ensure the efficient and effective use of funds, enforce/strengthen budget owner accountability and ensure that actions are taken where required.
- Carry out all Group's corporate tax compliance so as to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Assist Manager to develop SOPs and the implementation of finance operation improvement initiatives so as to achieve continuous improvements in process efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist Manager in Group-wide cost-saving and financial systems (including integration of multiple applications) initiatives by implementing projects that are assigned by Manager so as to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Assist Manager in implementing finance operations audit recommendations (arose from Internal and External audit) to ensure the robustness of the financial operations processes and controls and resolve audit issues identified in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Participate in a high performance team and increase consciousness of the interrelationship between each department in the Group.
Minimum of two (2) years of similar working experience. Preferably in Cash Management (Treasury).
Good communication skills.
Meticulous and able to work under pressure.
Experienced with ACCPAC accounting system would be an added advantage
